Niecy Beltz began her nursing career in 2014, gaining extensive experience in acute care. Beyond providing direct patient care, she dedicated a significant amount of time to roles as a preceptor and nurse educator, and served on the Holistic Nurse Committee.
Niecy holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from Minneapolis Community & Technical College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Augsburg University. She expanded her practice by becoming a certified aromatherapist in 2017. In May 2022, Niecy transitioned to a research setting, joining the Movement Disorders team at the University of Minnesota. She is now focused on the next steps in her professional journey: pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing from Augsburg University.
She lives in Hastings, MN with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing yoga and spending time outdoors gardening, camping, and kayaking, and would like to expand her small hobby farm, which is home to five emus and several chickens. As a fun fact, she once had a passion for cars and racing, having earned an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Service & Technology!
