Dr. Konczak's research focuses on somatosensory dysfunction that is linked to motor dysfunction in neurological diseases. His lab is actively engaged in research on using vibro-tactile stimulation of the skin and muscles as a non-invasive form of neuromodulation to treat focal dystonia. His work has been supported by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation.
