Dr. Keser will be joining the Stroke Division at the University of Minnesota Neurology Department as an Associate Professor at the end of September 2026. Zafer Keser, M.D. researches innovative neuromodulation therapies to enhance post-stroke recovery and reduce overall burden of stroke-related disabilities. He is investigating the utility of transcranial direct current and magnetic stimulations in enhancing cerebral blood flow in patients with chronic vasculopathy and post-stroke cognitive & language recovery. In collaboration with Dr. Hariharan and others, Dr. Keser studies advanced neurosonography, MR imaging and neurophysiology techniques as individualized biomarkers in stroke recovery.
