On August 11, Karrie Molitor represented MnDRIVE Brain Conditions at the Minnesota Epilepsy Foundation Walk in Moorhead, and what a wonderful evening it was!
With beautiful weather and an incredible turnout, the event brought together people from across the region to show their support for the epilepsy community. The energy throughout the event was inspiring, with participants, families, advocates, organizations, and community members coming together for an evening of connection and awareness.
Karrie had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people throughout the event, including community members and fellow vendors who are passionate about supporting individuals and families affected by epilepsy. Events like this create a unique opportunity to learn from one another, share resources, build new connections, and strengthen the network of support available to the epilepsy community.
We are always grateful for opportunities to bring MnDRIVE Brain Conditions beyond the walls of the University of Minnesota and connect directly with communities throughout the state of Minnesota. These events remind us that brain health research and outreach are ultimately about the people and families whose lives are affected by neurological conditions every day.
A huge thank-you to the Minnesota Epilepsy Foundation for putting together such a fantastic event and to everyone who came out to walk, connect, support one another, and help raise awareness for epilepsy.
What a great evening in Moorhead! We are grateful to have been part of it and look forward to continuing to connect with communities across Minnesota.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success!
