As a materials engineer, Jeanie has made significant contributions to the field of neural implants and medical technologies through her work with DARPA BRAIN initiatives. She started her career at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where she advanced the fields of nanotechnology and bioprinting technologies. She gained clinical research experience at the University of Minnesota in the Departments of Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, and prior to returning to the University in 2024, she worked as a CRA for a local medical device company in a Phase III trial. Jeanie holds a B.S. in Genetics and a Graduate Certificate in Nanotechnology from Washington University, as well as a Master's in Clinical Research. Her commitment to making a positive impact on people's lives has been the driving force behind her career. Now joining us as an Outreach Specialist and Regulatory Coordinator, her innovative approach will support the department's commitment to excellence.
We're thrilled to have her on board our MnDRIVE Brain Conditions team! Can't wait to see the impact she'll make!
Welcome to the team, Jeanie!
