MnDRIVE Brain Conditions/MINCEP were honored to be in Duluth for the Minnesota Epilepsy Foundation Walk as a sponsor on August 13th, where Marina Bryant and Karrie Molitor came together with members of the community for an evening centered on awareness, support, and remembrance.
The walk was about so much more than putting one foot in front of the other. It was an opportunity to stand alongside individuals and families affected by epilepsy, recognize the challenges they face, celebrate their strength, and remember those whose lives have been touched by epilepsy.
Community events like the Epilepsy Foundation Walk create space for people to come together and remind one another that no one has to navigate epilepsy alone. They also help shine a light on the importance of continued education, advocacy, research, and access to resources for people living with epilepsy and their loved ones.
For MnDRIVE Brain Conditions, being part of these events allows us to listen, learn, and connect directly with the communities at the heart of our work. Research is ultimately about people, and meaningful progress depends on strong partnerships between researchers, healthcare professionals, patients, families, advocates, and communities.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in the Duluth walk and helped make the evening so meaningful. A HUGE thank-you to the amazing organizers, volunteers, participants, families, and supporters who came together to raise awareness, offer encouragement, and honor those affected by epilepsy.
We are proud to stand with the epilepsy community and to continue supporting efforts that bring greater awareness, connection, and progress to Minnesota and beyond.
Together, we walk for awareness. We walk for support. We walk in remembrance. And we keep moving forward together.
