Alik Widge, MD, PhD is a MnDRIVE Neuromodulation Scholar and is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Minnesota. He will be discussing his current research on mental illness and developing technologies that can provide early interventions that will help improve quality of life. He will demonstrate his new algorithms for closed-loop brain stimulation and other methods for rewiring the circuits within that are connected to mental illness.
