Dr. Praveen Hariharan is an Assistant Professor and Stroke Neurologist at the University of Minnesota, where he leads health system clinical expansion, decentralized clinical trial operations, and implementation of clinical care pathways. His clinical and research work focuses on advanced neurosonology, large artery atherosclerosis, secondary stroke prevention strategies and intracerebral hemorrhage. As a MnDRIVE Neuromodulation scholar, he will be collaborating with Dr. Keser and others to investigate the therapeutic applications of targeted neuromodulation techniques such as transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). By leveraging advanced neurosonography techniques, his work aims to actively modulate cerebral blood flow, enhance cerebrovascular reactivity and promote functional recovery in stroke patients.
