We’re excited to share that MnDRIVE Neuromodulation researcher, Dr. Christine Conelea, contributed her expertise as part of a national workgroup that developed a newly released Parent Guide on Brain Stimulation Treatments for Mental Health, published by the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP).
The guide, Brain Stimulation Treatments for Mental Health, is designed as a trusted resource for parents considering neuromodulation treatment options for their children. It provides clear, accessible information to help families understand when and how brain stimulation therapies may be considered in child and adolescent care.
At the University of Minnesota/MnDRIVE Brain Conditions, we’re proud to be home to one of the only pediatric-focused neuromodulation research facilities in the world. Our team is leading ongoing clinical trials across multiple child and adolescent disorders, advancing safe and effective brain-based treatments for the next generation.
This national recognition underscores the importance of our work here in Minnesota—bringing research, clinical care, and family support together to transform outcomes in youth mental health.
