MQ, a British charity that funds mental health research, awarded neuromodulation scholar Patrick Rothwell a Fellows Award for early career scientists.
Rothwell also earned a 2017 NARSAD Young Investigator Award from the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation for a project using optogenetic measurement to identify the synapses affected by mutations in a gene involved in autism and schizophrenia.
