We had a wonderful time at the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota Twin Cities Area Walk on Saturday, September 26, at Wolfe Park in St. Louis Park! The rain may have made an appearance, but it didn’t dampen the incredible spirit of everyone who came together to support and raise awareness for the epilepsy community. Our team was proud to connect with individuals, families, caregivers, advocates, and community members while sharing clinical and research resources on behalf of the University of Minnesota Department of Neurology, MnDRIVE Brain Conditions, and the Minnesota Comprehensive Epilepsy Program (MINCEP) Clinic. Events like this are so important because they create opportunities to listen, learn, share resources, build relationships, and remind people affected by epilepsy that they are not alone. Community connection is an important part of advancing awareness and supporting the people and families navigating epilepsy every day.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, got a brain tattoo, shared their stories, asked questions, and helped make the day such a meaningful experience. And thank you to the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota for bringing our community together!
Together, we can raise awareness, strengthen connections, support epilepsy research and care, and keep moving brain health forward.
