Discover your brain. Explore the science. Connect with your community.
What better way to celebrate the incredible complexity of the human brain than by spending a day learning, exploring, and connecting with the people working to advance brain health?
MnDRIVE Brain Conditions invites the community to join us for Brain Day 2026 on Saturday, October 10, at the University of Minnesota’s Great Hall in Coffman Memorial Union!
Brain Day is a fun, interactive, and educational community event designed to bring the fascinating world of brain science to people of all ages. Whether you are passionate about neuroscience, curious about how your brain works, interested in brain health, supporting a loved one living with a neurological condition, or simply looking for a fun family-friendly activity, there is something for everyone.
Throughout the day, visitors will have opportunities to meet researchers, clinicians, students, and community organizations, explore interactive exhibits, participate in hands-on activities, and learn more about the brain and the research happening right here in Minnesota.
You might discover how the brain controls movement, memory, sensation, emotions, and so much more. You can learn about neurological and brain-related conditions, see how researchers are working to better understand and treat these conditions, and explore some of the innovative technologies being developed to improve brain health and patient care.
At MnDRIVE Brain Conditions, we believe that research is most meaningful when it reaches the people it is intended to help. Events like Brain Day create an opportunity to bring science outside of the laboratory and into the community. They help researchers share what they are learning, give community members a chance to ask questions, and inspire the next generation of scientists, clinicians, innovators, and advocates.
Brain Day is also a reminder that brain health touches all of us. Every person has a brain, and every brain is unique. From the way we learn and remember to the way we move, communicate, sleep, experience emotions, and interact with the world around us, our brains play an extraordinary role in nearly every part of our lives.
And while there is still so much we don't know about the brain, Minnesota researchers are working every day to uncover new answers.
Come curious. Leave inspired.
Bring your family, friends, coworkers, classmates, or anyone who wants to learn more about the amazing brain. Whether you spend an hour exploring a few exhibits or stay for the entire event, we hope you will join us for a day filled with discovery, connection, and brain science!
