Today marks MnDRIVE Brain Conditions inception 10 years ago! It is impressive to see the significant contributions and impacts made over the past decade to advance our understanding of brain and neurological conditions which in turn improves the lives of countless individuals affected by them. I would like to extend my appreciation and congratulations to all the individuals and organizations involved in this program. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to advancing brain research has undoubtedly played a vital role in the success of MnDRIVE Brain Conditions.
I also want to give a huge shout out to Dr. Timothy Ebner (MnDRIVE Brain Conditions Chair) and our MnDRIVE Brain Conditions Steering Committee team (Drs. Clark Chen, Tay Netoff, Harry Orr, Sophia Vinogradov, and Jerrold Vitek) for being stellar leaders for our program. Thank you to our amazing research cores, scholars, researchers, fellows, and program staff. Thank you to the Office of the Vice President of Research, the University of Minnesota, and the State of Minnesota. Thank you Dori Henderson for all your hard work in getting this program established and for being such an amazing mentor.
Over the past 10 years, our program has achieved numerous milestones, breakthroughs, and advancements in the field of neuromodulation as well as training our next generation of scientists. It is heartening to know that such efforts are being made to tackle brain conditions and find innovative approaches for prevention, treatment, and support. As we look ahead, may MnDRIVE Brain Conditions continue to thrive and make even greater strides in understanding, diagnosing, and treating brain conditions.
