Dean's Distinguished Research Lectureship & Wall of Scholarship Celebration

ddrl

MnDRIVE members Laura Niedernhofer and Mark Thomas are speaking at the Dean’s Distinguished Research Lectureship (DDRL) via Zoom on Tuesday, December 15th from 4 pm to 5:30 pm

Each year we celebrate the outstanding research achievements of our faculty at the Dean’s Distinguished Research Lectureship (DDRL). Our Medical School Department Heads nominate two faculty members, one from their department and one from elsewhere in the Medical School. The nominees that represent the best research faculty in the basic and clinical sciences are selected to receive the Distinguished Lectureship Award. Awardees deliver a presentation at the event detailing the story of their research.

In addition to honoring the Distinguished Lectureship Awardees, we also recognize faculty members whose names will be added to the Medical School Wall of Scholarship. Faculty listed on the Wall of Scholarship must have a primary appointment in our Medical School and be current faculty members. For work to be featured, the faculty member must have first or last author credits on a publication that has been cited at least 1,000 times as indicated by two of three major citation indices (Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science).
