MnDRIVE Brain Conditions was in Rochester for another wonderful Epilepsy Foundation walk event! Marina Bryant and Andrea Arifin represented MnDRIVE Brain Conditions/MINCEP and connected with individuals and families from the Rochester and surrounding rural communities.
Community events like these provide a valuable opportunity to connect with people outside of the clinic and laboratory, share information about brain health and research, and learn more about the experiences and needs of the communities we serve. Our team was excited to meet participants of all ages, share some fun MnDRIVE swag, and provide useful resources about our programs and the work being done to advance research and improve care for people living with neurological conditions.
For MnDRIVE Brain Conditions, outreach is an important part of our mission. Building relationships with communities across Minnesota helps us share research opportunities and resources while creating meaningful connections between researchers, healthcare professionals, patients, families, and advocates. Reaching rural communities is especially important, as these connections can help ensure that people throughout Minnesota have opportunities to learn about and engage with brain health research.
We are grateful to everyone who stopped by to visit with Marina and Andrea, ask questions, pick up some swag, and learn more about MnDRIVE Brain Conditions. Every conversation helps strengthen the connection between our research community and the people we hope to serve through our work.
A special thank-you to the Minnesota Epilepsy Foundation for organizing another fantastic walk event and for continuing to bring the epilepsy community together across Minnesota. We are proud to support these efforts and look forward to continuing to connect with communities throughout the state.
Together, through community, connection, and research, we can keep moving brain health forward.
