Shea Sawyer is the Program Administrator for the MnDRIVE Neuromodulation in Medicine Fellowship within the Department of Psychiatry and serves as Program Assistant for the Forensics Fellowship and the Psychiatry Residency Program. In these roles, she supports administrative operations, coordinates educational programming, and facilitates trainee engagement across fellowship and residency initiatives. Shea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Theology, bringing a strategic and communications-focused lens to academic program management, though her professional passion centers on advancing mental health education and training. Prior to joining the University of Minnesota Medical School, Shea worked in professional association management, where she helped plan and execute large-scale conferences and educational events. Her background in event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and organizational logistics informs her structured, detail-oriented approach to supporting psychiatric education and fellowship development.
