Introducing our newest team member, Selam Woldegerima, who is our new Clinical Research Coordinator in the Deep Brain Stimulation Research Core. Selam will be responsible for coordinating patient recruitment and overseeing data management for studies focused on Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor. She received her MSc in Epidemiology from the University of Oxford and her MPH from the University of Minnesota in 2025. Her prior research experience includes investigations into the association between cognitive decline and kidney function, as well as research in the department of pediatrics at the UMN Medical School.
