Neuromodulation Researcher Named McKnight Land-Grant Professor

One of the University of Minnesota's leading neuromodulation researchers, Matthew Johnson, Ph.D., was one of eight assistant professors awarded the University of Minnesota McKnight Land-Grant Professorship. The program recognizes and aims to advance the careers of new assistant professors who excel in their fields. Johnson is developing technology that uses electrical brain stimulation to correct abnormal neural activity in people with neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders. His research, collaboration and support is critical to the goals and success of MnDRIVE Brain Conditions. Congratulations to Dr. Johnson!

Kechun Zhang, a MnDRIVE Environment faculty member, was also named a McKnight Land-Grant Professor.
