N-PNS are excited to announce the third MTIC workshop titled "Equity and Inclusive Excellence in Medical Innovation." This workshop will be led by Dr. Ana Núñez, MD, FACP, Professor of General Internal Medicine and Vice Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion - who will talk about how incorporation of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the medical technology development process can lead to better devices for our patients. We will also go over a practical example of how DEI can be applied using the bioartificial pancreas as an example.
