Dr. Brian Sweis, MnDRIVE Neuromodulation Fellow, wins SFN's Lindsley Prize

The Society for Neuroscience's 2019 Donald B. Lindsley Prize for best dissertation will go to Dr. Brian Sweis for "his advances in understanding of how the brain processes information during decision making and how this is affected by addiction".   Dr. Sweis, an MD/PhD student at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus, successfully completed the PhD portion degree in 2018.  He returned to medical school, where he is working to complete his medical degree.   Dr. Sweis received a MnDRIVE Neuromodulation Fellowship in 2016, and again in 2017 to support his dissertation research.
